This is a wonderfully rich, Southern pie recipe that is the best I've tried!Ingredients | Karo Syrup Pecan Pie Recipe1 ¾ cups white sugar¼ cup dark corn syrup¼ cup butter1 tablespoon cold water2 teaspoons cornstarch3 eggs¼ teaspoon salt1 teaspoon vanilla extract1 ¼ cups chopped pecans1 (9 inch) unbaked pie shellDirectionsPreheat oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C).In a medium saucepan, combine the sugar, corn syrup, butter, water, and cornstarch. Bring to a full boil, and remove from heat.In a large bowl, beat eggs until frothy. Gradually beat in cooked syrup mixture. Stir in salt, vanilla, and pecans.
